Hello RMS School Families,

I am honored to be the Principal at Emilie J. Ross Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. I have been a long-time resident of Hughson, attended all Hughson schools, and started my career in education in 1996, teaching English at Hughson High School. I feel blessed to work with a dedicated staff and community committed to our students.  There is no other place I'd rather be than in Hughson. This town is a special place to raise a family. I welcome you and look forward to this coming school year.

Our goal at Ross Middle School is to connect with our students first and foremost. Our staff is proud to be named a California Distinguished School and we will continue to strive to live our mission: to provide a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment that will empower all to achieve their full potential by igniting a passion for high-level, lifelong learning.

Our site is also proud to be a PBIS Platinum School. We have a special area for students called The Husky Hangout. Every Friday during lunch, students can spend their earned K-9 Kash on various apparel, school supplies, and student-selected items. Following our PBIS motto to be safe, respectful, and responsible has perks! This space is also used by our mental health team to conduct student groups to help grow our student body socially and emotionally.
